From the President
Welcome to Alpha Delta Pi at the University of Southern California! As I look back on my years here, I could have never imagined how the women of Alpha Delta Pi would affect me so much. The sisterhood that has surrounded me has given me so many outlets to explore. Sisterhood is the bond that has developed between us all that make our individual and unique lives one strong union of women. I am in constant awe of the girls who surround me and look to each as an instrumental part of what makes this chapter so unique.
Our passions lie in campus involvement and philanthropy. Last semester alone, Alpha Delta Pis were involved in over 120 campus organizations, and held prevalent positions in even the most prestigious of these including Orientation Advisors, Tour Guides, and even Panhellenic Council. While we feel that campus involvement is a necessity in college life and for growth as an individual, our national charity, The Ronald McDonald House holds the diamond in our eyes. The Ronald McDonald House supports and provides assistance to families with terminally ill children in various hospitals around the world. At our annual fundraiser last year called Row Cup we raised over $6,000 and collected thousands of soda can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald house is very important to us and we are grateful for the opportunity to consistently be a part of their programs.
All of this definitely keeps us busy, but we still manage to maintain high grades. Grades and school are very important to us and we pride ourselves on our various backgrounds including but not limited to business, pre law, pre med, and engineers. We have a vigorous scholarship program that pushed us to obtain the highest GPA on the Row this past semester.
My love and dedication for this house and its members cannot be expressed in any other way. I am honored to serve as Alpha Delta Pi’s President and to lead us to our next level of achievement, an amalgamation of our strengths as sisters, leaders, and scholars.
Pi Love,
Rohini J. Patel
Alpha Psi President
