    About Alpha Psi

The Alpha Psi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at the University of Southern California was founded in 1925. Our "Pi Palace" (formerly a French consulate) is known as "The House that was Built on Dimes", as the house was purchased with dimes collected by the sisters of Alpha Psi.

Since 1925, the women of Alpha Psi have continued to maintain a strong presence on campus. In 2009, we were awarded by the university for excellence in community service, membership development and scholarship. In fact, this past semester, our chapter had the highest GPA on the row! Moreover, the Alpha Psi chapter excels nationally as well. At the 2009 Alpha Delta Pi Grand Convention, our chapter received awards in recruitment excellence, new member excellence and scholarship excellence.

    ADPi Facts

Alpha Delta Pi was founded in Macon, Georgia.

The official mascot of Alpha Delta Pi is a lion, affectionately nicknamed "Alphie"

The official flower of Alpha Delta Pi is the woodland violet. However, don't expect to find these at your local florist! Woodland violets only grow in the wild and are not available for purchase. However, you can always buy African violets to surprise your favorite ADPi!

Our official colors are azure blue and white. The blue represents the lasting friendships found in ADPi and the white is symbolic of sincerity and truth, two qualities found in every ADPi.
